Workshop Update - Last one is August 7th in Dubois, WY

The last workshop for the foreseeable future less than two weeks away.

      • August 7, 2016 - Dubois, Wyoming - Field Low-Level Voice Intercept and HF Radio Operations - Last workshop for the forseeable future.
The price of the workshop is $50.  However, if you feel the need to attend the workshop, and cannot for whatever reason afford the $50, you can pay on an “as you can afford” basis in either FRNs, precious metals, or barter (ammo, field gear. et. al.)  I leave it up to you and your honor as to the amount.  Contact <sparks31commo@gmail.com> for more info and to reserve a slot.
This is one-day practical field workshop will cover the basics of grid-down/resilient communications systems, and communications monitoring focused on local VHF/UHF systems.
Topics of this workshop will include:

    • Radios
    • Antennas
    • Basic Off-Grid Electric Power
    • Basic Test Equipment
  • VHF/UHF Communications Monitoring
    • Equipment Selection
    • Low-Level Voice Intercept Operations
    • Basic Radio Direction Finding
Pack a lunch, water, and toilet paper.  The facilities are primitive, and far from civilization.
There will be a swap meet in the rendezvous style during the workshop. Bring your trade goods.If you have previously attended a workshop, you are welcome to attend a refresher course free of charge.
